Dave Price Departing WNYW New York
Morning anchor's exit sparks multiple talent switches; Greg Kelly back to a.m.

Dave Price, installed as anchor on the WNYW New York morning program last summer, is leaving the Fox-owned station.
Greg Kelly, who'd given up his a.m. chair to co-anchor the station's 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts, returns to mornings starting Jan. 25 -- pairing again with Rosanna Scotto on Good Day New York.
"I had a great experience returning to Fox5 but it is time to look for opportunities outside WNYW," Price said in a statement. A station insider said Price left on his own and he did not specify his next opportunity.
"We appreciate all of Dave's contributions to Good Day New York and we wish him success in his future endeavors," Lew Leone, WNYW New York VP and GM, said in a statement.
Steve Lacy, currently on 4:30-7 a.m., succeeds Kelly on the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. news, the latter with Dari Alexander, starting Jan. 24. Kelly and Scotto were Good Day co-anchors from 2008-12.
"He has proven he has the versatility to anchor a primetime newscast and an unscripted morning show -- a rare and valuable quality," said Leone in a statement. "This, combined with his fun, spontaneous, and inquisitive style, make him the perfect fit for this role."

To each his own, however I started watching Fox news after Dave Price Left Channel 2 and came to Fox, he is a pleasant character to watch as you get up and start your day.He will be missed.

Always have loved Dave price---from days bygone on fox then to channel 2? He's amusing, smart and Funny with an edge. May-be ABC ( the only morning show I will watch---hopefully they won't screw up like 2, 4 and 5 have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) will find a place for him. They ( I hope genuinely like 1 another---and it shows!!!)

Dave Price was fantastic at the morning show and I miss him.
He made the morning fun and upbeat.

Greg and Rosanna are best together. If anyone had an ego it was the no talent bufoon Dave Price. Greg is totally down to earth and you have to understand his sense of humor. Ratings are soaring!!!

I cannot believe Dave Price is gone......I have been watching good day New York every day since he returned. His real down to earth personality kept me and my entire family tuned in this guy Kelly has an ego
larger than New York city and he does not belong on daytime tv and Rossana is out dated as well....The rating will drop just watch and see.
