New series will show Dog and his wife Beth helping bail bond agencies facing extinction

CMT has ordered ten, one-hour episodes for a spring/summer 2013 premiere.
Dog will show Dog the Bounty Hunter (Duane Chapman) and his wife Beth as they concentrate more on the bail industry as a whole, helping other mom and pop bail bond agencies that are facing extinction due to bad legislation, untrained or ineffective bounty hunters or just plain bad decisions. Dog was created by Duane and Beth Chapman through their production company, Entertainment By Bonnie and Clyde. The series is executive-produced by Electus (Ben Silverman, Chris Grant and Jimmy Fox) and CMT's executive VP of development and programming Jayson Dinsmore.
"This series is a game changer for CMT," said Dinsmore. "We were aggressive in our pursuit of a show featuring Dog and Beth, one of the most bankable teams in television history. We couldn't be happier to partner with Electus and Dog and Beth as they move forward on the next chapter."
I will watch CMT even more now. I started watching Reba lately and it is so funny. If DOG is on, i will definitly watch it more. I have came to LOVE the old show and the reruns even. I can watch it over and over again. My only hope is that Leland, Baby Lisa, and Duane Lee is going to be on these new shows too. And even the rest of the family.

Dog The Bounty Hunter was by far one of the best reality shows on TV. The family dynamics and teamwork, the Christian emphasis within the family with their prayer time before and after captures, and once they made the capture and pursuaded the bounties to change their lives, and the action entertainment of the actual bounty hunts was great. I am looking forward to seeing this new show, and wonder if the family dynamic we all grew to love about the other show will be missing from this one where they are simply advising and aiding other bail bond agencies. I am certain with the previous success of their show and this dynamic duo of a couple, this one also should be a winner. Glad to see you guys back and thank you CMT for providing the forum for these great people to do what they do best and share it with viewers like us. I'm a big fan of Dog, Beth and their family and will now be watching more CMT than I ever have before now that this network has opened the door for The DOG!
