Joel Kelsey, policy analyst for Consumers Union in Washington, is joining Free Press as a political advisor.S. Derek Turner, Consumers Union research director, continues to head up the group's D.C. policy team.
The move comes at a busy time for Free Press on the communications front as it pushes for network neutrality and against the Comcast/NBCU merger.
