Production of In Session, truTV’s successful daytime block of courtroom shows, is being shifted to HLN, the company confirmed Tuesday. Production of trial coverage for In Session will move to HLN Nov. 16. The move will allow In Session to use the production capabilities of HLN and the CNN news organization.
HLN will oversee production and studio shows from Atlanta. The network will create studio space and assign production staff and on-air talent to In Session. The move will result in job losses in New York and the addition of positions in Atlanta.
TruTV is also restructuring its marketing efforts, moving affiliate marketing activities to Atlanta, where truTV’s sister networks under Turner Broadcasting reside. The brand strategy and marketing group will now include the digital content and multiplatform development group.
"Production of truTV's In Session trial coverage will shift from New York to HLN in Atlanta, effective Nov. 16, to leverage the unrivaled production capabilities and infrastructure of the CNN organization, which includes HLN. This move will result in some position elimination in New York and position growth in Atlanta, which we are currently addressing," a network statement said. "There will be no interruption to In Session's programming schedule. We are also restructuring truTV's marketing staff, which will include a reduction of some positions in New York."

This guy - Ryan is so biased it is pitiful. He does not listen to more experienced people and just charges head with his opinion. How stupid is that??? He is horrible and I sincerely hope he is replaced soon or I will not be watching any longer Having worked in a court system for some years, I know bias when I see it!!!! Get rid of this guy!!!

Ryan Smith is a great host and kept my attention on In Session. TruTv needs to be true to themselves and keep this guy on. Sunny is good as well

Wow! I just googled "Ryan Smith" to say how much I like his broadcasting abilities and knowledge, also to, glad Vinnie is back, too. I'm a caucasian, 75-y.o. woman, so I'm sure my group is stereotyped, and I think Ryan doesn't even look like he's got cues to read. I really wish you were still Court TV, and lasted all day long until
5pm, but 3's it, I guess. Anyway, I'm surprised at all the negative feedback on Ryan. I'm just trying to find out more on his background, because he seems so familiar.....I hope tru will bring us more on all of the upcoming crimes committed in FL last year. From: Marcia, Fort Lauderdale

I can't believe this has happened. I come home from work at noon and watch my favorite programming In Session, formerly Court TV during my lunch hour. What Im not able to watch, I DVR. What a shock to see an obivious ridiculous prgramming of "Speeders" for the most part of the day. I'm amazed you have done away with a truly entertaining and informative format. The former teams for In Session from 8:00 am thru 2:00 pm will be sadly missed. I will no longer watch this channel (a long time favorite of mine) as long as the lineup now seems to be ridiculous and an insult to my intelligence. Sorry I must say Good bye to my favorite programming and Channel. Let me know if you ever go back to your former line up that was proven successful.

Sad to see these changes, I sure won't be watching anymore. By the way hate the evening shows too, most of those are just plain stupid. Sad to see this station go to the dogs....
