heI am not sure about this show. I will give it a few more tries. But, if someone from teh show reads this, please make the typeface bigger when indicating locations and people and leave it on for a tiny bit longer. Good thing I have TiVo or I wouldn't have seen any of it.

I hope those who were disappointed with Southland check out Harper's Island next week. What a great show! I already can't wait for next week's episode.

Rarely have I been as disappointed as I was with the initial offering of "Southland". Are they going for a reality show or a drama? As a retired police officer, with 30 years experience, and as an actor, I feel that they missed in both areas. There was nothing to connect the viewer with any of the characters. It is a show about LA, filmed in LA. LA, the home of the hotrod, and they didn't even get the car right. What they identified as a 64 Chevy, was in fact a 63. It ain't Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blues or Homicide. It ain't even Cops.
