ABC Family will bring the seventh and final season of the Warner Bros. Television series Gilmore Girls to the network.
The network currently has the off-network rights to the series’ first six seasons and will now have cable rights to repeat the complete Gilmore Girls collection.
Gilmore Girls ran on The WB from 2000-2006, with the last season airing on The CW in 2006-2007.
“ABC Family has been a great home to Gilmore Girls, and we are pleased to announce this deal to bring the seventh and concluding season to the network,” said Warner Brothers Domestic Television Distribution President Ken Werner in a statement.
ABC Family will premiere the seventh season in June.

I know it's kind of late to post my comment here, but i really feel upset about the last season of gilmore girls. I was really looking forward to something and there they, were just left the fans hanging.. The finale was very inconclusive and I really feel awful about this.. Many people love gilmore girls.. I just don't understand why they would make something like that.. It is so frustrating..

Well, I am glad that I am not the only one! I thought I was going crazy. I saw maybe two new episodes and that was it! I was wondering what the heck was going on. I really looked forward to some new stuff.

False advertisment, ummm. Not good for the ABC Family image, are your ratings down that badly? Personally, I may just boycott your network. One person may not make a difference but it would apprear that there are a lot of upset people.

We were very disappointed that the series is not doing a final -- we were really excited that you were going to finish off this very special witty series I have not ever researched when a TV show was on... I wasted my time looking to find NOTHING. Seems to me that this is a group that would be valuable in getting back together and creating a conclusive series.

Extremely upset that all the commercials led you to believe that they were coming back for an 8th Season!!!! Incredibly lame of ABC Family to run such advertisements!!!! Do you realize how long we have been waiting for answers and continuation????
