New Web Site for “Morning Joe”
Joins Rachel Maddow Show, Countdown with revamped website.

MSNBC launched a new website for its morning show Morning Joe. The site is heavy on video content with highlights and interviews from the day’s program and additional commentary from host Joe Scarborough.
The new web home for Morning Joe is similar in style and format to the recently overhauled websites for The Rachel Maddow Show and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Like the rest of MSNBC online the site includes embeddable video and podcasts, allowing consumers to add segments of the show to their own websites or blogs.
“Viewers are tuning in to Morning Joe more now than ever before,” said Executive Producer Chris Licht in a statement. “The re-vamped website will give fans and political junkies on demand access to the most intriguing interviews from the show and extras we can’t fit into the broadcast.”
In 2008 the show delivered MSNBC with its highest number of total viewers (385,000) for the morning time slot. Viewership increased by 27% from 2007 when Morning Joe debuted, replacing the syndicated radio program Imus in the Morning. The program was mentioned on both the New York Times’ and Washington Post’s year end best of television lists.

Used to be a faithful listener until you began pushing your conservative agenda to hard upon mostly liberal ears...I fogave your bad manners while interrupting almost everyone...constantly raving about your political moment of glory and verbaly slapping down our Mika...you are a bore with great guests but I can no longer tolerate your ego and uppity Republican what you might call elitism...if I wanted all that consertative slop I would watch Fox News...a bit of it is balance...too much of it is toxic.

Morning Joe would be a great show if Joe S wasn't on it. He is a motormouth who respects no one's opinion but his own. He treats Mika badly, thinks he's the only one on the show who has any intelligence. I love the show on days when he isn' there and Mika gets to run the show.

A flight attendant flips out after frustration with his occupation and everyone on the show and elsewhere considers him a cult hero. Gibbs fllips out, which I think he needed to do, save the Pentagon remark, and he somehow is less human than the flight attendant. I think this points out the frustration the left has about getting "fair and balanced" outside of FOX NEWS. I know the other networks are trying to report the news, but when you look in from our vantage point, it is obvious controversy sells, and pointing out the accomplishments of our government, doesn't. If we are not more careful in reacting because our feelings got hurt by a remark, the media's feelings, we are effectively putting the car in reverse.

Watch your show every day and love it, but i think Joe gave Rep. Joe Wilson and easy pass on his appology to president Obama. If you look at one of the clips after the incident you will hear Wilson say he was "asked" to appoligize by the party. Not exactly the same thing. Obama should have held his feet to the fire a bit before he accepted.

It is amazing how the conversation is whether profiling occurred during the initial call. What is at issue is whether the professor should have been arrested at all. We he was identified at the homeowner, the issue should have ended. Yes, the professor should have been quiet, but he should not have been arrested. It was an abuse of power, which ussally occur when a black man is in this situation.
You people don't understand how it is being black and being stopped by an police officer. I am 52 years old and still have a fear about being stopped by the police. It started during my development years when one of my friends was stopped for a traffic violation, taken to the police station and beaten to death under custody of the police. I am from Houston Texas and everytime I am stopped, I feel anxioty and wonder if it is going to be my turn to be abused.
I have been stopped and asked provoking questions, like where did you get this car, why do you wear that jewelry, what kind of work you do, you must be doing something to get this car and have that jewelry.
You don't understand these things that we see and how we are questioned. I have never been arrested or done any crime.
Also, President Obama used one word and he is scrutinized to death about it. President Bush was never questioned like this. Your show gives credit to the notion that President Obama is not an american citizen. Would you please stop this nonsense. It would not be a discussion if he wasn't black and you know it. It is discusting and should not be happening .
They do everything to discredit the president. Please stop the madness. And can you show give the president his respect and call him President Obama just like we do for all presidents.
