Shuster is one of the few TV reporters who actually can do original reporting. He was way out in front on the Valerie Pflame story. Hope his move to an anchor chair doesn\'t keep him studio-bound. If he really wants to break ground, he should do an original field package every day and rush back to the studio for the live show, like in the \"old days\" before multimillion dollar contracts, host bloviation and groupthink management took the juice out of TV news.
