Jim Ryan Returns

We don't know if he will get a welcome of confetti and bagpiping sanitation workers, but Jim Ryan is returing to the New York news scene, joining WCBS New York's morning newscast.
He will appear on-air as part of the station's Sept. 11 aniversary coverage, then start full-time Sept. 19.
Ryan had been a fixture on Fox's WNYW morning show for two decades before exiting earlier this year. At one point, the then 61-year-old Ryan was welcomed back to that station with bagpipes and confetti in July 2002 after triple-bypass surgery.
No surgery this time, but he will get a lot of face time with a Doctor--senior VP and News director Dianne Doctor. She calls Ryan "an icon in the broadcast community" who brings a "wealth of experience and knowledge."

A COMMENT FROM DOCTOR She calls Ryan "an icon in the broadcast community" who brings a "wealth of experience and knowledge." need i say what many call her as i think she knows what people actually think of her, as far as her experience, it takes a lot of that to fire someone while on vacation, my icon to her is a 'DONKEY' i have watched mr. ryan since day one on gdny with lynn brown and then on wcbs with the funny dave price and the talented mario, but if the docotr has anything todo with wcbs i will not go there either as well as no corning in the morning no fox, thanks to the witch or bitch, who so many have no respect for but have no balls to show her and tell her. IF SHE IS MARRIED HER HUSBAND IS PROBABLY LEWIE AS SHE HAS HIM BY THE BALLS.. WHAT IS WITH THE BOSSES OF GDNY, FIRE HER BEFORE SHE TOTALLY RUINS FOX.. GEEEEEZ FOX HAS NO RESPECT FOR THERE STAFF AND THE GREAT TEAMS THEY PUT TOGETHER.. ALL COVER UR ASSES AS THERE IS A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE, GET THE DRIFT.. OR GET THE KY
