Clay to star in action series

By Staff -- Broadcasting & Cable, 11/12/2000 7:00:00 PM

Pearson Television is developing a one-hour action vehicle starring loud-mouthed comic Andrew Dice Clay. But Colosseum, the first project to be greenlighted under Matt Loze, Pearson's new president of drama and long-form series production, is not yet on the studio's official NATPE 2001 slate. Studio sources indicate that Pearson will probably take just one series, the frontrunner being a revamped version of classic game strip Card Sharks.
