Soon, pro wrestlers may be banging each other with high chairs rather than folding ones.
World Wrestling Entertainment is looking to get wrestling fans into the tent as early as possible.
The company said Tuesday it had launched wwekids.com, a site targeted to kids 6-14 that extends the brand of its WWE Kids magazine, which launched in April.
The site features videos, photos and a "play" area with "Dozens" of interactive applications, all billed as "age-appropriate" content.
Turns out the WWE tent is already filled with kids. According to the company, more than 2.8 million kids as young as 6 watch its TV wrestling shows weekly.
That young audience is part of the reason the WWE is moving to make all of its shows PG-rated, rather than the TV14 that they had been for many years.

WWF/E was good from 1996 to 2007. I dont even watch that watered down crap known as "Monday Night Raw, ECW, or Friday Night SmackDown!" anymore. I stopped living in the past, and now I'm looking forward to the future. TNA is the future of sports entertainment. They actually give us what their initials stand for: Total Nonstop Action. As long as Jeff Jarret doesn't make the same mistake that Vince McMahon made, he'll always have me as a fan. LONG LIVE TNA!!!

Vince is ruining the company. WWE right now lives more on its history, than the product today. Some of the great names are still there, but they are simple not allowed to be as brutal as before. It has changed, and i don't think WWE will realise has lost and is losing so many true fans because of the low level violence. TNA is rising, for the very reason, that it's action, is simply better.

Oh, please. WWE programming is more-so for 13 and older. by making their programming suitable for the little ones, most children will start doing bad things and the parents will start wondering why. WWE programming should go back to being for 14 and over rather than PG.
