Fox Orders Full Season Of Sarah Connor

Terminator drama gets back-nine order

Fox has given Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles a full season order.
The network is giving the Warner Bros. sci-fi drama a back-nine pickup after earlier picking up a full season of rookie sci-fi drama Fringe. The network has also already pulled the plug on Do Not Disturb this season.
The show’s most recent outing on Monday at 8 pm did a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
Fox’s move comes at the end of a week in which CBS gave a full-season order to The Mentalist and ABC benched Opportunity Knocks.

It's nice to see Fox showing faith in "Terminator" despite its so-so
ratings. Give credit to the network for realizing this show is up against
stiff competition in "Monday Night Football," "Chuck" and "Dancing with
the Stars."

Perhaps a change of scenery would be best? Pairing it with "Fringe" on
Tuesdays seems logical - and a much better fit than Mondays with
"Prison Break." That said, I don't expect to see "House" vacate its
timeslot any time soon.

I didn't completely love "Sarah Connor's" first season, but the episodes
weâ€™ve seen lately have been remarkably clever. The action is great fun,
and the cast is superb - Lena Headey and Summer Glau in particular.

It's great to know we'll see more from this series.
