Katie Couric will interview Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin Sunday, Sept. 28, and Monday, Sept. 29, CBS News confirmed Tuesday.

The interview, which will take place in the days before Alaska Gov. Palin’s debate with Democratic VP candidate Sen. Joe Biden (Del.) Oct. 2, will be broadcast that Monday on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric, with coverage continuing Tuesday morning on The Early Show and CBSNews.com.
In addition to the interview, coverage will showcase Couric’s travels with Palin as she campaigns with presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), and it will be available on CBSNews.com, as well as CBS Radio News.
Palin, who last week gave her first interview since being nominated to ABC News’ Charles Gibson, will sit down Wednesday with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity.

Has the world forgot Obama and his 20yrs. association with his pastor?? Are you so inept as to not read through the lies? You can't tell me that he was never privy to that tone prior to his running for office. Wake people! Obama is a smooth talker and has no experience where it counts. Put he and Biden through what McCain and Palin have endured. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. he can't do half of what he proposes. God help us all if he is elected.

Here's how I see the two camps: The bloggers I've read on your site so far seem to be intelligent, thoughtful folks who want answers on specific questions on the issues. The McCain-Palin supporters I know (many of whom are my friends) send emails to me saying that I shouldn't vote for Barack HUSSEIN Obama (with emphasis on HUSSEIN, as if that means he is related to Saddam). My God, how stupid is this country? I've figured out where the idiots live. Katy, I noted your extremely polite and tactful comment that Sarah Palin is difficult to pin down on an anwer -- do your job and drive it home. The fact that there are US Air Force fighters based in Anchorage (Elmendorf Air Force Base) that intercept Russian aircraft doesn't give the governor of Alaska foreign policy experience. The fact that Alaska is next to Canada doesn't give the governor of Alaska foreign policy experience. I STILL would like to know how the governor of Alaska gets foreign policy experience, besides simply saying so...

I'm just curious but when does Joe Biden start getting grilled about his background. Like that little issue of plagarism and the way he used his foreign policy expertise to predict that the surge would be a total disaster. Oh wait, he's a Democrat and a man.
