ABC News secured the first in-depth post-vice-president-pick interview with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Charles Gibson will sit down with McCain in St. Paul, Minn. The interview will air Wednesday on World News and Nightline and Thursday on Good Morning America.
ABC News is billing the McCain interview as an "exclusive," calling it McCain's only interview during the Republican National Convention this week.
Interest in McCain peaked with his surprise choice for a running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
CBS News -- which aired a joint interview with Democratic ticket Sens. Barack Obama (Ill.) and Joe Biden (Del.) last Sunday on 60 Minutes -- and every other news organization has made overtures to McCain and his running mate.
But Palin's coming-out party will apparently be her speech at the Republican National Convention, where she is expected to take the stage Wednesday.

It''s so obvious that Charlie, Diane & George are Democrats by their coverage of the Conventions.

I found Charles Gibson's interview with Senator McCain very distrubing. I've never seen such one-sided reporting. Where is your probe of Obama? What about in depth questions of his association with criminals and terrorits(Bill Ayers)? Why don't you question him about the housing project he pushed in Chicago that is now falling down and in such bad shape will probably be condemned. Count me out as a viewer of ABC news. You guys stink as professional journalists.

All of McCains supporters and surrogates when asked questions about Gov. Palin don't answer the questions, instead they attack OBama or give false information. The Brown interview was not over the line, she wanted an honest answer I applaud her efforts. The fact that John McCain canceled his interview with Larry King shows his mindset that he does not want to be questioned on his judgment, and then in turn the McCain camp proceeds to attack the interviewer. Disgraceful. Is this going to John McCains mode of operandi if elected? To me this shows his mindset, it's his way or the highway.
