For the first time in my 45 years, I'm seeing my entire family switch from
Democrat to Republican this year. The reason? They're saying their party
has been hijacked by the extreme left and has lost touch with it's base.
They align themselves much more with McCain on the issues. I can tell
you that liberalism is rapidly destroying my state!!

I will piggyback on Jay's comment. What did she say? I heard nothing with with meat and potatoe. All you Palin lovers, explain your reasons.

What a breath of fresh air VP Palin is. Her strong focus and compassionate spirt for humanity is awesome. Her qualifications are obviously going to be put to the test and she will make it through the fire refined because of experience.

I'm not trying to be a troll or anything but I stumbled across this post which as of now has 3 comments, all praising Palin.
What did she say that got you all so fired up? She didn't say anything interesting to me... Here's my paraphrased version of what I heard:
"I'm a hockey mom, my daughter is knocked up and my husband races snowmobiles. Hockey moms and pitbulls haha! Barack Obama is the bad guy and we're SO gonna take him down. John McCain is awesome. Everything he does is awesome. Did I mention he's a POW? Man, he's awesome. Fin."
Not once during her speech did I hear a single valid reason why she is at all qualified to be a heartbeat away from being President...
