Tribune Stations to Show NFL Network Games
Tribune stations in New York, Dallas, San Diego, New Orleans, Denver, Indianapolis can now air games that would otherwise be available only to cable- or satellite-TV subscribers.

Tribune obtained the local-market over-the-air broadcast rights to six games carried by NFL Network.

Tribune stations in New York, Dallas, San Diego, New Orleans, Denver and Indianapolis can now air the games that would otherwise be available only to cable- or satellite-TV subscribers.
“Partnering with the NFL [National Football League] to bring these games to a broad audience in these markets is a real demonstration of our commitment to staying hyper-focused on local programming,” Tribune Broadcasting executive vice president of interactive and broadcast sales John Hendricks said. “There’s nothing bigger than the NFL and these games will deliver big ratings for our advertisers.”
WKGN Denver gets the Denver Broncos at the Cleveland Browns Nov. 6; WPIX New York has the New York Jets at the New England Patriots Nov. 13; WSWB San Diego has the Oakland Raiders at the San Diego Chargers Dec. 4; WGNO New Orleans will air the New Orleans Saints at the Chicago Bears Dec. 11; WXIN Indianapolis has the Indianapolis Colts at the Jacksonville Jaguars Dec. 18; and KDAF Dallas will show the Baltimore Ravens at the Dallas Cowboys Dec. 20.
