CBS said Wednesday that Sophina Brown, formerly of CBS drama Shark, joined another CBS drama, Numb3rs.
Brown will join the cast on the Oct. 3 season premiere and will play Nikki Betancourt, the newest member of the investigative team.
She formerly had a guest role on Numb3rs. Her other credits include Without a Trace, yet another CBS drama, as well as NBC drama Law & Order, soap As the World Turns and Chappelle's Show.
