ABC News Sets Convention Plans

Network sets one hour per night of live coverage from Democratic National Convention in Denver Aug. 25-28, Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., Sept. 1-4.

ABC News will have one hour per night of live convention coverage on each of the four nights of the respective Democratic and Republican National Conventions in Denver and St. Paul, Minn.

Charles Gibson, Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos will share anchoring duties. ABC will be live from Denver at 10 p.m. Aug. 25-28 and St. Paul Sept. 1-4.

Gibson, Sawyer and Stephanopoulos will be joined by ABC News political correspondents Jake Tapper, John Berman, David Wright and Ron Claiborne. Kate Snow will report from the convention floor. Cokie Roberts, Sam Donaldson, John Donvan, David Chalian and Rick Klein will also be on hand to offer analysis along with George Will, Matthew Dowd and Donna Brazile, who is also a CNN contributor.

Digital network ABC News Now will provide wall-to-wall coverage of the conventions.
