The Jewish Channel Lands on FiOS SVOD

Verizon Communications’ video service offers The Jewish Channel via SVOD for $5.99 per month.

Verizon Communications’ FiOS TV began offering content Tuesday from The Jewish Channel on a subscription-video-on-demand basis at a $5.99 monthly fee.

The year-old network, which launched in the New York area via cable TV, expands nationally with the deal to 1.2 million FiOS households.

The Jewish Channel’s content includes lifestyle, holiday and children’s programming.

  Is this evangelical Christian Lion of Judah Jewish or traditional Jewish? Who owns it? Just checked their web site; they say they're independent of any organized religious branch, but they say nothing about the owners and managers. I find it unusual that this information is not included in their "FAQ" page or anywhere else I could find. Could B&C provide this info if you are going to tout its carriage agreements?
