Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh signed an eight-year contract extension with Clear Channel Radio and Premiere Radio Networks, estimated to be worth more than $400 million.

The deal comes as Limbaugh prepares to celebrate his 20th year on the air this August.

"This is exactly where I want to be, doing what I was born to do, with an amazing audience and phenomenal support from affiliate stations and sponsors,” Limbaugh said in a statement. “I'm having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.”

The deal also includes continued syndication of the Rush Limbaugh Morning Update, a 90-second commentary that airs Monday-Friday, and will continue to give Limbaugh control of RushLimbaugh.com, newsletter The Limbaugh Letter and subscription service Rush247.com.

Limbaugh’s radio show is currently syndicated on more than 600 radio stations, reaching an estimated 20 million weekly listeners.
