It was a case of NBA 360 Tuesday night, with ABC winning every half-hour with its coverage of the Boston Celtics’ drubbing of the Los Angeles Lakers to take the National Basketball Association Finals.

The network averaged a 4.5 rating/13 share for a Jimmy Kimmel game countdown show, a pregame show and the game. The network's ratings grew every half-hour from a 2.6/9 from 8 p.m.-8:30 p.m. to a 5.7/16 from 10:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
Fox and NBC tied for second at a 3.1/9. NBC was led by the premiere of America's Got Talent, which turned in a 4/11 from 10 p.m.-11 p.m. Fox's Hell's Kitchen, that network's best performer, averaged a 3.9/11 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m.
CBS was unable to generate much interest in its special on the American Film Institute's Top 100 films, averaging a 1.3/4 for the three-hour tour of top movies in various genres.
The CW was fifth with a 0.5/1 for repeats of Beauty & the Geek and Reaper.
