What a nice guy, and as someone said a very good man.
I think the thing I liked about him the most is that
he was like a little boy. I liked his devotion to his
family and remembering little things about people and
being able to enjoy a hotdog & baseball game. His heart seemed to be with his family. He did a great
job on his show, but how could someone like that not
be a great employee. He will really be missed.
work, but most people like that usually do. I will
really miss him..

As an (election year) political junkie and devoted Meet the Press viewer, I have been deeply affected by Tim's death. However, what a tremendous testimony his life bears as we all learn new things about him and the Christian life he lead. You must be so proud.
I am struck, though, that Tim was able to succeed in a DC culture where he represented almost the typical counter-culture of fairness, civility that is not always popular in the Capital.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Maureen, Luke, Big Russ, and all the Russert family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed Tim on Sunday morning. I had been a caregiver to my mother for several years and was home. The program that Tom Brokaw held for your dad/husband was very meaningful, Tom had a hard time getting through the program. It brought tears to my eyes as well as everone who watched it, I'm sure. Sounds like he was a great dad and wonderful husband always putting his family & Church first. He was highly respected by his peers. I am so sorry for your loss.
