CBS Soaps No. 1 for 1,000th Week, 1012th Consecutive Household Win for The Young and the Restless

Household-ratings marks normally come and go with little fanfare since advertisers buy demos -- 18-49 for primetime traditionally, 25-54 for news, etc. -- but CBS Daytime's milestone rates a mention for its sheer size.
CBS' soaps lineup has been No. 1 in households for its 1,000th week, the network said, which works out to more than 19 years.
The Young and the Restless has done even better than that, recording its 1,012th consecutive household win. Even better, it has been tops in its target demo of women 18-49 for all of this season, CBS said.
And no wonder when it is imperative to tune in to find out whether Paul actually does track down David's one-time stepdaughter, Mina, to try and figure out why she blames David for her mom's death.
