Hallmark Promotes Arouh, Lee
Janice Arouh Named Executive VP, Network Distribution and Service; Laura Lee Named VP, NDS

Janice Arouh, senior vice president of network distribution and service for Crown Media Holdings, which owns Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, was named executive VP.
Arouh comes off a round of successful carriage negotiations in which she reupped with the major cable and satellite companies representing 90% of the channel’s subscribers. She also helped launch to the HD version of the movie channel.
In addition, Laura Lee, VP, Eastern and central regions, the two networks, was named VP, NDS.
In that post, Lee will oversee affiliate sales nationwide for the channels, reporting to Arouh.
Hallmark Channel says it now reaches 84 million subscribers.
