By Alex Weprin -- Broadcasting & Cable, 5/19/2008 2:03:00 AM

CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV) and Cablevision Systems struck a distribution deal that will see the network added to Cablevision’s iO Sports Pak in New York beginning in July.

CBS College Sports Network

CBS College Sports is currently in 25 million homes, and it was not immediately clear how many additional homes will be added thanks to the Cablevision deal.

CBS College Sports has been undergoing growth since being acquired by CBS in January and rebranding in March. The network recently offered its March Madness programming online and through MSOs as part of “March Madness On-Demand,” expanding on the previous year’s incarnation. It also announced this month that it would be going HD.
