Kimmel: Actors’ Strike Would Be ‘Insane’
Host of ABC’s Late-Night Jimmy Kimmel Live : Most People Have ‘Had Enough of These Strikes’

Just hours before Tuesday’s announcement that the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers will begin bargaining April 15, ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel reflected the strike fatigue felt by many in the television business.

Speaking on a conference call Tuesday promoting his 1,000th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs Thursday, Kimmel said he thought most people have “had enough of these strikes.”
“It will be insane if they have another strike,” he added. “Hopefully they will figure the whole thing out.”
Kimmel said that while the recent 100-day writers’ strike shut down his show and others, he would not expect an actors’ strike to have a similar effect.
