NBC to Debut My Dad Is Better than Your Dad, Amne

Baby Borrowers Bounced Off Network’s Schedule for Now

By John Eggerton -- Broadcasting & Cable, 1/28/2008 1:20:00 PM

NBC will premiere reality competition My Dad Is Better than Your Dad Feb. 18 and new game show Amne$ia Feb. 22. Out, for the moment, is Baby Borrowers.

NBC

My Dad will take over from American Gladiators when that show finishes its current flight (Mondays, 8 p.m.-9 p.m.), while Amne$ia will take over the Friday 9 p.m.-10 p.m. slot when 1 vs. 100 wraps up.

Baby Borrowers, about teen couples who get to test the joys of parenthood, had been scheduled to debut in the Gladiators spot and had been getting some hefty promotion on NBC. But that show was put on hold for the moment, with a "later date" to be announced, well, later.

My Dad, a Reveille/Mark Burnett/Hotchkiss Industries production, is described as a "friendly competition" meant to prove the iconic boast of children everywhere. Amne$ia, hosted by Dennis Miller, is a comedy game show featuring contestants asked to answer questions from their past.
