CES 2008: Jeopardy! Taking 2009 Tournament of Champions to CES

Sony Pictures Television to Tape 10 Episodes at 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show

Las Vegas -- Sony Pictures Television announced Monday that it will tape the 2009 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions live from the floor of the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show next January.

Show host Alex Trebek and SPT president Steve Mosko made the announcement Monday morning at a closed-door event at the CES here featuring performances by Jerry Seinfeld and Tony Bennett.

SPT will tape 10 episodes of Jeopardy! at CES next January in conjunction with the show’s 25th anniversary.

The move also marks SPT’s continued bolstering of its presence at the electronics show, as the company looks to keep pushing the synergies between its divisions.
