CBS Wins Night Due to NFL Overrun; Colts @ Ravens Propels NBC to Second

Football dominated the Nielsen Media Research ratings Sunday night, with CBS winning the night with a 4.1 rating/10 share thanks in part to a huge National Football League overrun from 7 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (8.1/22).
NBC was second with a 3.8/9 for its Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens contest.
ABC was third on the night with a 3.3/8, led by Extreme Makeover with a 4.4/10 from 8 p.m/-8 p.m. Oprah Winfrey special For One More Day averaged a 3.2/8 from 9 p.m.-11 p.m.
Fox averaged a 2.9/7 with a mix of repeats and originals.
The CW was fifth with a 0.5/1, also for a mix of repeats and originals.
