Bravo Looks to Web for New Show

Bravo gave the green light to a show that began as a YouTube hit.

Ask a Gay Man

The reality show, with the working title Hey Bitches!, will follow William Sledd, the star of Ask a Gay Man on YouTube and OutZoneTV.com, as he moves from his hometown of Paducah, Ky., to New York.

"With over 80,000 subscribers and more than 3 million channel views to date, William's sense of humor and style have clearly struck a chord with the American public," Bravo executive vice president of programming and production Frances Berwick said in a statement. "The response to William on OutZoneTV.com has been overwhelming. His charm and sense of fun are infectious. People are asking to see more of him and his life."

On his videos for YouTube and OutZoneTV.com, Sledd presents his own take on pop culture and fashion and takes questions from viewers.

The title of the new show comes from Sledd’s Web videos, where his signature greeting is, “Hey bitches!”

Bravo has not announced when the show will debut on the network.
