Media Giant to Auction Items Used in Shows Including Friday Night Lights , The Office , 30 Rock , Heroes

Tim Riggins' (Taylor Kitsch) jersey from Friday Night Lights, Michael Scott's (Steve Carrell) Hawaiian shirt from The Office, poker paraphernalia used on 30 Rock, or an oil painting shown on Heroes: Those are just some of the items being auctioned by NBC Universal starting Monday, Nov. 19.
NBCU has auctioned "one-offs" of props from shows, but this is the first time it has done a bulk auction of items featured on its TV shows -- but probably not the last, said spokeswoman Fowzia Iranpur.
NBCU is donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales to the United Way, part of a broader, ongoing campaign to benefit the charity.
