Newport Television’s Sandy DiPasquale on the Mend
Recovering from Bypass Surgery

Newport Television chief Sandy DiPasquale is recovering well after bypass surgery late last week.
His son Michael, vice president of operations, said Sandy is “doing great and will return to work shortly.”
Newport is taking over the 56 Clear Channel stations Providence Equity Partners bought for $1.2 billion. Michael DiPasquale said Newport was still shooting for the deal to finalize around Dec. 1.
“He’s in good spirits,” Michael DiPasquale added. “He’s happy to be home and he’s looking forward to running the show again."

Sandy DiPasquale has a heart? I am shocked given how many people he has laid off (except his son of course). I guess when you are struggling to make a mortgage payment or starting to dip into your son's college account to pay for health insurance knowing Sandy is OK makes it all worth it.

Hi Sandy,
I just learned about your surgical experience. If anyone can beat the odds, it would be you. There is no doubt. Now, Quit sluffing off and get back to work. LOL
Best personal regards.
