Boston’s WBZ-TV, TV38 Name News Director

Kiernan Joins CBS Television Stations from Sister O&O WCCO-TV Minneapolis

Jeff Kiernan was named news director of CBS Television Stations’ WBZ-TV and TV38 in Boston.

Kiernan held the same title at CBS owned-and-operated station WCCO-TV Minneapolis for four years.

He will start at the Boston stations Monday, Sept. 24, reporting to president and general manager Ed Piette, who also came over from WCCO-TV last July.

For Peter, about Gov.Deval Patrick, i agree with the Gov. and quiet honestly don\'\'t think he went far enough. Osama bin Ladin was trained by us. fact. The Taliban as i remember were quest of President Bush,at his ranch and a visit to congress, as late as August of 2001. fact. fact. And i would like to know why all of the airlines were shut down while the Bin Ladin family plane was alloud to go around the country and pick up all of their relatives and leave. Why question Gov. Patrick for saying understanding people is good? I hope the learning curb of americans improve soon.
