Nancy Grace Is Exiting Court TV
By Anne Becker -- Broadcasting & Cable, 5/8/2007 4:52:00 AM
Nancy Grace, whose show, Closing Arguments, was being cut from two hours to one as part of a general network overhaul, will stay at Court through the summer and will keep her show on co-owned net, Headline News.
Grace said she was leaving the network after 10 years to focus on her headline show and outside activities. "After ten wonderful years at Court TV, I have decided to leave the network to focus on my Headline News program and my charitable endeavors. Court TV will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will always look back at my time there with great gratitude and affection."
Sources say she has wanted to leave the network for a long time and asked to be let out of her contract. No word on what show will replace her show.

This is just too much. First Catherine and now Nancy is leaving....wow...Like many other people, I tuned into court tv after work and would catch the end of Nancy Grace and then Catherine Crier. I am a faithful follower of Nancy and Catherine and will watch them whereever they go. I will not be watching court tv once Nancy goes. I turn the stateion after her show and will never watch psychic detectives or cops, they are an insult to the faithful and intellignet audiance that tune or tuned into CTV. BIG MISTAKE

What is happend to Court TV? I watch every day and love to learn what really goes on in a real court. It is so good to see justice at work. I miss Catherine Crier's show and will no longer tune in when Nancy Grace is gone as well. When something is not broke, do not fix it. Just who decided to change a good thing? Seems to me that some one needs to rethink these changes.

I am completely dismayed with the direction in which Court TV is headed. I am not surprised, at this point, to hear that Nancy Grace is now leaving. It's not a question of whether or not I am a big fan of her personally. I just can't take the "rebranding" of CTV, as they so euphemistically put it. I have not watched, at any rate, since the cancellation of Catherine Crier. It's just a matter of time until there is nothing left to watch anyway....

I love Nancy Grace and have watched her for 10 years on CTV. The top 2 rated shows will be gone now. Crier and Grace. The last day that Grace says, "goodbye friend", CTV will no longer see this face looking at whatever they will be airing. This is a huge mistake on the part of the uppper management and I think they will live to regret it. Nancy Grace is an ICON. Thankd the good Lord we can still see her on HLN. I wish her the best as I do MS. Crier. CTV has gone to the dogs. Maybe it will be a cartoon channel now.

I have always loved Nancy Grace and her "Don't bullcrap me attitude"! She calls it as she sees it and she is usually right. She has great compassion for victims. I am a criminal justice student and I hope to be an attorney. I want to be a hard core prosecutor just like her.
