Hello: I nominate my mother, Gail J. Federico, professional "hair dresser" for more than thirty years here in the Boston, MA area. Her expertise in "dressing hair" is surely phenomenal. I am "always" impressed with her creation, articulate cuts, polished colors, elegant and trendy styles per the occassion not to mention quasi pygologist which is needed to bring out the very best in clients in both look and in raising ones emotional esteem with their improved and/or new look. From one who works in a field that requires me to be both analytical and detailed I am amazed with the output of this "hair dresser" I use that specific term "hair dresser" because I find that many of the "newby" stylists do not know how to dress the hair and turn to using straightening irons as a cruch or do not now how to properly use a blowdryer or understand facial shape and hair design. I don''t know how my mother would feel coming on the show however, I truly believe the skill and talent that she has should not pass by without being noticed. She is passionate about her work and knows how to blend the 60''s look with the future beyond 2007 wich results in a work of art. That is talent!!! Thank you, Lorrie

hello my is tami bates and my niece nicole franke would be a perfect contestant on shear genius she is 19 and has been doing hair since she was eleven.Her insructer at paul mitchell ask her when she knew she had it in her to be a hairstylist?She told nicole that not everyone has it in them and that nikki does. there is nothing that she is afaid to tackle when it comes to hair.please let us know so she could sign up to try to be a contestant.I promise you,it wont be a mistake.
