Showtime fired off a six-episode order for Lock ‘N Load, a new half-hour reality series.

Penn & Teller: Bullshit

The pay network also announced the renewal of Penn & Teller: Bullshit!.

Lock ‘N Load is set in a gun store in Englewood, Colo., and it follows the working days of gun salesman Josh Ryan as he sells to clientele including a new parent wanting to protect his family and a woman in her 30s who wants to carry one in her purse for protection.

Customers are filmed using hidden cameras until after the transaction. A shooting range in the basement of the store should add some pop to the series.

Showtime will roll out the series next year. It is from Authentic Entertainment, with Tom Rogan and Lauren Lexton serving as executive producers.

The network also ordered 10 new episodes of Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, which it will roll out next year. The show, in its sixth season, is now Showtime’s longest-running show.

It is from Wolper Organization and Star Price Productions and executive-produced by Price, Mark Wolper, Penn & Teller and David Wechter.
