4Kids Launching Shows on The CW, Fox

4Kids Entertainment programming CW4Kids block for The CW, 4KidsTV block for Fox.

4Kids Entertainment said Wednesday that it is launching new shows on blocks it programs for The CW (CW4Kids) and Fox Kids Saturday morning (4KidsTV).

Biker Mice from Mars

Fox is adding two new shows to its Saturday lineup: a new take on Biker Mice from Mars (9:30 a.m.) and the next installment of Chaotic, Chaotic: M'arrillian Invasion (10:30 a.m.), based on the trading card/online game. 4Kids pays for the privilege of programming the four-hour block on Fox and gets to sell the national ad time in the shows.

As of fall 2008, it is doing the same for The CW, programming a five-hour Saturday-morning block that includes library product, a couple shows moved from the Fox block (Dinosaur King and Viva Piñata) and two newly-produced shows with familiar names -- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Back to the Sewer and Yu-Gi-Oh -- plus one unfamiliar name, Gogoriki, based on a Russian series and debuting later in the season on The CW.

Also in the pipeline are the previously announced Huntik and Rollbots.

The CW will air a half-hour preview of its new kids' lineup Sept. 12 from 4:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
