Golf Channel Inks New Dish Deal

Network now available in more than 80M homes.

Golf Channel signed a new agreement with Dish Network, giving the network a better slot and immediately boosting the number of homes it is available in to more than 80 million.

“This new partnership with Dish Network continues the significant growth we’ve realized since the announcement of our historic partnership with the PGA Tour,” Golf president Page H. Thompson said in announcing the agreement. “We’re excited that more Dish customers will be able to enjoy the great golf action delivered by the biggest names on all of the leading golf tours around the world.”

The channel will now be included as part of Dish’s America’s Top 200 programming package, as well as higher packages.
