CBS’ The Doctors Ups Its Clearances
Five Doctors to Take On Health Issues in 75% of Country, All Top-25 Markets

CBS’ The Doctors advanced its clearances to 75% of the United States, including all of the top 25 markets.

Of the markets already sold, 65% of those are early fringe clearances, a CBS Television Distribution spokesperson said.
The show features five doctors taking on people’s health issues. Emergency-room doctor Travis Stork, who appeared on ABC’s The Bachelor, will be joined by Lisa Masterson, an obstetrician/gynecologist; Andrew Ordon, a plastic surgeon; Tara Fields, a licensed marriage and family therapist; and Jim Sears, a pediatrician.
All five doctors will appear periodically on CBS’ Dr. Phil this season in advance of the show’s debut next fall.
The Doctors will be produced by Stage 29 Productions and executive-produced by Jay McGraw, Dr. Phil McGraw’s son.

PROPOGANDA PROPGANDA PROPOGANDA. I was concerned the first time I saw Dr. PHil air this Bachelor star/ER doctor want-a-be on the one-time show with a panel of doctors supposedly "clearing up medical questions of the public" and saw how they allowed this inexperienced guy make constant comments that geared mainly that anything drug related is good, and should be for life, and going to the root of the problem and healing yourself of using PROVEN natural things was very bad. (Dr. Phil's website was down for a long time afterwards for some reason and I never was capable of getting through to comment or complain.) NOW, Dr. PHil's son produces this proganda show with the same want-a-be, who makes blanket statements again--stating--stay away from herbal things, rely only on drugs, they are "safe and proven." THIS is obviously a purely drug backed and produced show to try and bombard the publicly again with false information about health. When WILL YOU LEARN?

I am sitting here watching Dr. Travis Stork show a man that smokes, diseased lungs and pouring chemicals that are in cigarettes for him to see. This is being done to try to make him disgusted so he will want to quit. This method DOES NOT WORK. I was a smoker for years, but quit many years ago. I had one doctor after another say and do things like that. The problem is not because we are ignorant to the fact that smoking is bad for you. It is a stress reliever, and that man on the show was so stressed he had trouble keeping his emotions in check. He was smoking to calm himself down when he couldn't deal with his life's problems. He needs help with his life, not diseased lungs to hold. Why dont' Doctors understand that?

Recently, I sent an email to the Dr. Phil show regarding plastic surgery on teens that REALLY do deserve it. I subsequently received a call and email from the associate producer of the new Dr. Phil show, "The Doctors." She asked many questions, left several voice mails on my cell phone and requested pictures, stating that they would LOVE to have my daughter on their show. I answered all her questions, gave detailed information on my daughter's situation and sent several pictures. IMMEDIATELY after I sent the pictures, I received an email from her stating that the show had changed directions and that they would no longer need my input. I felt it was rude and inconsiderate as I had indicated that I was visiting my elderly, recently widowed father and went WAY out of my way to ensure she received the pictures she needed.
It was OBVIOUS that the reason the show "changed directions" was the way we looked (and believe me we are decent looking people).
It just goes to show that even Dr. Phil has fallen prey to the almight money God. When he first began, it was about helping people, now it's about what makes him look best. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
